The Builders Club

***Community Service Club***

The community service club – The Builders Club - at Mayport Middle Coastal Sciences has been hard at work this year providing assistance to their community and beyond. The club kicked off their year with trick or treating for under privileged children in South America. The club president Maddie Heap (7th grade) encouraged her members to collect can tabs which proceeds go towards providing chemotherapy for children in need. The students made beautiful center pieces for the Beaches Senior Thanksgiving Dinner; as well as, making Christmas cards for our service men and women. These groups of student’s have given their time and energy to better their community and are still going strong.

The Builders Club is one of the strongest community service clubs in this area and the projects are completely chosen and carried out by these middle school students who are determined to make a difference.
