Mayport Middle School PTA's Mission   

The mission of the Mayport Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to work together to support the ongoing process of helping our children become Independent Learners. By providing a volunteer presence at the school, participating in the decision making process and providing additional financial resources we are partners with the staff in their endeavor to teach our children cooperative learning, technology, critical thinking, multiple inteligences, science, reading, writing, and mathematics throughout their education.
 

Mayport Middle School PTA's Focus & Guidelines 
 
The Mayport Middle School PTA is a way for families and teachers to support their children's education. As such, we expect members to be positive role models for all the children of the school, and work within the same guidelines that we ask of our children, be kind, be safe and be a learner. We want to do everything in our power to make the PTA a friendly, open, positive force in the lives of our children.

The PTA will work to support Mayport Middle School through regular business meetings, fundraising, and community building events to build community involvement and support.  If you would like to become involved at any level, please contact a PTA board member or the committee chairperson.
